Portable Document Format (PDF) is the de facto standard for electronic distribution of documents because it keeps the look and feel of documents that must maintain specific formatting. PDF files are compact, cross-platform, and can be viewed by anyone with a free Acrobat Reader.

How do I use PDF files?
This icon identifies files in the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). To view a PDF file, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader loaded on your own computer. Acrobat Reader is free software you can download directly from Adobe's Website. Once you have downloaded Acrobat Reader, simply click the linked PDF files to view the individual handouts.
